Johanne handles press relations, media engagement and external communications.

She has several years of experience in journalism and communications, having worked with organisations and media outlets including the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), the Norwegian African Business Association, the United Nations Association of Norway, and the Norwegian Embassy in Washington DC.​

 

Johanne has lived and worked in Kenya and South Africa and is currently based in Tanzania. Her professional background in media and communications, combined with her strong interest in the African continent, informs her work in communicating projects, partnerships and developments across the regions where Empower operates.
