Felix leads post-investment ESG at Empower New Energy, covering projects from construction through to operations. He manages the company's greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, oversees ESG disclosure to investors, and runs reporting against the IFC Performance Standards and related frameworks.

 

He also structures and leads Empower's transactions in environmental attribute markets, covering renewable energy certificates such as I-RECs and D-RECs. He builds and maintains the financial models for the company's Zambian projects, and brings certificate revenue into project screening and indicative offers more broadly. 

 

Felix holds an MSc in Sustainability Management, specialising in Sustainable Finance, from the School of Business at the University of South-Eastern Norway, and a masters in Economics & Policy Management from the University of Ghana. He holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, awarded on passing the ESG Investing exam, and is a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.
