
Felix Sarfo Agyapong
Sustainability Manager
​Felix leads post-investment ESG activities at Empower New Energy, guiding sustainability efforts across the project lifecycle, from construction through to operations and maintenance. He manages the company’s greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, supports regulatory reporting aligned majorly with IFC Performance Standards and other relevant frameworks, and oversees ESG-related disclosures for investors.

In addition to his core ESG responsibilities, Felix contributes to early-stage project assessments, particularly in assessing sustainability-linked revenue streams such as Carbon Credits and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), most importantly I-RECs and D-RECs. He works closely with internal teams to evaluate carbon financing potential, support project screening, and where relevant, feed sustainability insights into financial modelling and indicative offer development.

Felix holds a Master’s in Sustainability Management with a specialisation in Sustainable Finance from the University of South-Eastern Norway, and a Master’s in Economics & Policy Management from the University of Ghana. He is a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP).
