Violet is a Renewable Energy and Energy Access specialist with nine years of experience in developing and managing grid-tie and off-grid energy projects in East Africa. With a solid background in Finance and Project Management, her expertise spans project and asset management, financial advisory, and business development across various renewable energy sectors, including Commercial & Industrial (C&I), minigrids, hydro, wind, biomass, and clean cooking access.

 

She has a proven track record in project management and partnership development with both private entities and government agencies. Violet’s extensive experience includes working on projects funded by USAID, the EU, Norfund, and BII, where she applied international best practices. Among her key achievements are conducting renewable energy mapping in Kenya and establishing a strong pipeline of hydro, solar, biomass, and C&I solar projects across East Africa.
