Raja Dasgupta

Raja is an economist and former diplomat with over 10 years’ experience in the development sector, with a focus on renewable energy and climate action. During this time, he has managed renewable energy and adaptation projects for the UK government in Southern Africa, covered the climate change brief for the UK Minister of State for International Development, advised on the implementation of the UK’s Energy Africa programme, and designed renewable energy initiatives for the private sector in West and East Africa. He holds applied experience of utilizing blended finance solutions to maximize the impact of renewable energy projects. Raja is based in Queensland, Australia.
