Empower New Energy sign partnership agreements with leading African law firms

Following Empower’s grant agreement with the African Development Bank-managed Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA) grant, the company this week executed its first three contracts under this framework.

The three contracts awarded to consortia led by Bowmans (based in Kenya), Detail Solicitors (based in Nigeria), and Mazghouny & Co (based in Egypt) are for legal advisory services in support of Empower’s small and medium-sized renewable investments in East, West, and North Africa respectively. With the support from SEFA and through these agreements, Empower is now able to accelerate its investments into high-quality renewable projects that would otherwise have been too small to attract finance.
